Perfect for digital nomads, the house has 2 dedicated workspaces with standing desks, and a 3rd workspace, ensuring a productive stay. The house is newly renovated with 3 bathrooms (2 full) and an AC. Enjoy the convenience of town living, surrounded by local charm. Experience the ultimate blend of work and play in this surfers' paradise. This is a 3 level home with 2 staircases. The living room, kitchen and dining area is on the first floor along with a half bathroom. There's a small terrace outside. Cook up a feast or brew a rich cup of coffee in our kitchen, fitted with a full range of appliances including an oven, stove, microwave, coffee machine, and a dishwasher; a rare, delightful find in Portugal. The 2nd floor has a bedroom with a US queen size bed or European king size bed and full bath with shower and a workspace. The hallway has a dedicated work space with a standing desk and ergonomic chair. The entire 3rd floor is the 2nd bedroom with a US queen size bed or European king size bed and shower and a bathroom as well as a dedicated work space with a standing desk and ergonomic chair. This floor can be completely locked as there is a door leading up to the 3rd floor which can be locked. We can accommodate a 5th guest on the sofa which folds down into a bed. Extra linens and bedding will be provided if you have a 5th guest. We are very digital nomad friendly! We feature 3 total dedicated workspaces (2 of them are computer adjustable standing desk and office chairs) and we have fiber internet connection. Access is by digital keypad and 24 hour check in is available. This property is not good for people who have mobility issues or potentially small children because of the stairs. Digital keypad access and the code will be sent before check-in. Kindly note that our property maintains a strict stance against smoking, parties, or unauthorized guests. We do, however, warmly welcome pets, pending prior approval. Parking is street parking and there's usually at least one space. Peniche is fairly small so you can usually find a spot close by on the street within a few minutes walking. Peniche is beautifully detailed by the breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, with our property perfectly encapsulating this vibe. A simple 1-hour bus ride connects you to Lisbon while exploring the town requires no more than your feet, eliminating the need for a car during your stay. If surfing or soaking up the sun sits high on your agenda, numerous beaches are either within a walking distance or a short drive away. We are in the downtown area of Peniche and about 900 meters from the main bus/coach station (about a 11 min walk). Our house will comfortably fit 4 adults and we have a sofabed plus an inflatable mattress for the 5th guest. We also have a baby cot available on demand. Please note that beginning in 2024, the city of Peniche charges a tourist tax of 1 Euro per night, per adult, up to the first 5 nights. We have to collect this to be compliant. This tax is exempt for children under 13 years of age. This tax is included in the final amount that you see at the end of the booking page and we use what is inputted on Airbnb to calculate the total guests (so up to you to provide this information).
